Mangrove Forest
Mangrove forest in Panay is the largest in the province with an area of about 371.03 hectares. Reforestation sites are located in Brgy. Lat-asan and Buntod. It is part of the eco-tourism being promoted by the municipality. Mangrove serves as habitat to fishes, birds, and different species of animals; filter the water system from pollutants; and buffer zone for strong waves and currents protecting the people living in the coastal areas.
